Q. Where do I go to open an AlertPay account?
A. You can open an AlertPay account here.

If you already have a "Personal Starter" AlertPay account, please upgrade your AlertPay account to a "Personal Pro" account as soon as possible. Upgrading your AlertPay account is free. See these instructions for upgrading your AlertPay account.
If you're not sure what type of AlertPay account you have, you can check your account type by logging into your AlertPay account.
Q. Do I have to get my AlertPay account verified in order to use it with JBP?
A. No. You can start using it before it's verified. However, you should get it verified as soon as possible so you can withdraw large amounts!
VERY IMPORTANT: If your AlertPay account is a "Personal Starter" type account, please upgrade your AlertPay account to a "Personal Pro" account after you enter your AlertPay ID here. Upgrading your AlertPay account is free. See these instructions for upgrading your AlertPay account.
If you're not sure what type of AlertPay account you have, you can check your account type by logging into your AlertPay account.
Q. Do I need to open an AlertPay account before I join JustBeenPaid!?
A. You can actually join JBP without having an AlertPay account. However, you'll need a funded AlertPay account (or a credit card linked to your account) to complete the upgrade process. Without an AlertPay account, there will also be no way for you to get paid.
VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to select "Personal Pro" as your account type when you open an AlertPay account. See the two answers directly above for more information.
(AlertPay is based in Canada. If you send a money order to fund your account, it needs to be an International Money Order. Mail from the USA to Canada requires extra postage.)
If you encounter problems when trying to make the $10 or $20 upgrade payment, please Submit a Help Request. You will then be provided with further instructions on how to proceed.
Q. I signed up and upgraded but AlertPay would not let me pay from my upgraded account for q referral, until I upload proof of business. I don't have proof of business and I don't know how to upload it if I did. What should I do?
A. It sounds like you attempted to upgrade your AlertPay account to a Business account. You could reverse that and downgrade to a "Personal Pro" account. Click Here for details on how to do it. You could tell AlertPay that the Business account does not suit your purposes.
Q. With how much money should I fund my AlertPay account before I join JustBeenPaid!?
A. Probably with at least $25. However, you can also simply link a credit card to your AlertPay account.
Q. Is JBP going to use PayPal as another payment processor? I believe PayPal is a good processor because many people that have PayPal accounts.
A. JBP does NOT plan to use PayPal. They may regard JBP as an "MLM program" and freeze our account, if we try to use them.
Q. How much does it cost to join JustBeenPaid! and upgrade?
A. $10 or $20.
You may also want to cater for the possibility of buying downline members from the JBP Feeder, at a cost starting at $5 each. You basically need two paid members on your first level to get into profit. You could fund your AlertPay account with $50-$100, depending on how many downline members you plan to purchase.
Then you may want to make JBP's Synergy Surf (JSS) your primary moneymaker. The minimum to start with is $20. You can buy up to ten $20 new positions per day.
Q. What about getting a loan to finance my JBP/JSS business?
A. Check out the Tutorial on "Microfinancing & Peer-to-Peer Loans."
Q. What's the JBP refund policy?
A. All sales and payments are final. JBP doesn't offer any refunds in respect of the payments of $10 or $20 to JBP Admin.
Q. Are there any additional costs involved with JBP membership?
A. Yes. There are renewal fees. A $20 payment needs to be made every three months. (If you originally upgraded for $10, then your first renewal payment after 3 months will be $30.) It should be relatively easy for all JBP members to get into profit within a month or so. We expect that most members will be able to pay the renewal fees out of profits.
Q. How do I know that my referrals will pay their renewal fees? What does JBP do to get members to renew?
A. JBP sends reminders (several, if necessary) to members to renew, starting 14 days before renewal payments become due. If applicable, when members log into their accounts, they see a reminder that they need to renew.
If they don't renew on time, their accounts are suspended and they may lose earnings.
To make JSS withdrawals, members will need to keep their JBP renewal payments current.
Also, in order to receive renewal payments from their downline, members must pay their own renewal fee when it is due. This should provide additional incentive for members to keep up with their renewal payments.
Q. Why does JBP have periodic renewal fees?
A. So you can earn residual income. Everyone on the first level of your JBP downline will pay you $15 every three months.
Q. Can I see a list of all the sponsor payments I've received?
A. Yes. Log into the Member Area and select "View Payments Received" from the menu.
Q. What do I have to do to ensure that I get paid?
A. It is your responsibility to make sure your payment system account IDs are accurate and up-to-date. JBP is not responsible for any missed payments due to inaccurate information or the upkeep of your payment system accounts.
It is your responsibility to check your payment system accounts to be sure you actually received all payments that you should have received. (Because payments for JBP2 and JBP3 are made member to member, the JBP system cannot confirm that any of these payments between members were actually made.)
In the event of a disagreement between two members regarding payments, it is the responsibility of the members involved to resolve the disagreement. JBP Admin holds no responsibility at all in such scenarios.
Q. What's the situation about getting paid for my referrals that were purchased by someone else?
A. You get paid the purchase amount - 10% (to cover fees). There is a mechanism in JBP to to make these payments once a week. The purchase amount varies, as specified in the Feeder Faq.
